Grants

The charity works with local agencies to extend its reach through the City with targeted grant-making, offering vital support to local people navigating sickness, disability, or financial hardship. Our voluntary grants board meets monthly to consider applications, ensuring help reaches those who need it most as quickly as possible. We provide one-off grants and offer start-up grants to support people moving into new accommodation or rebuilding their lives after a crisis. For younger residents, our grants open the door to education and opportunity: we help young people under 25 pursue studies or training that might otherwise be out of reach. The charity also provides grants directly to schools in Oxford, enabling pupils from low-income families to take part in educational visits, holiday clubs, and extracurricular activities. Through this broad range of grants, we aim to ease immediate hardship while investing in long-term well-being and opportunity for Oxford’s residents.
